Here we are going to disclose it’s another feature which is again very important and near about every 2^nd person related to business use CRM software and have such type of experience at least for once in his/her life.

A CRM user may leave the company and that persons owned specific views and they need to be taken over by a replacement. The views created by the previous user are personal and according to CRM settings they can’t be viewed and transferred to new user.

If it’s really important to transfer views then impersonation can be used to resolve this issue. Follow the following steps to easily transfer views to another user,

Step 1:  after downloading, CRM2011_ReAssignViews_EXE.zip and extract the files.

Step 2: after extracting run the CRM2011_ReAssignViews_EXE.exe from extracted files.

Step 3: provide CRM server name, relevant port number, organization name and provide relevant credential for the same and then click on “Retrieve List of User” button.

Step 4: click on retrieve list of user button, this will retrieve all users from provided CRM 2011 organisation and will update relevant user drop down with user name.

Step 5: select source user this is from where views need to be transferred to and then press retrieve list of views buttons.

Step 6: once all the views owned by source user returned select the ones that need to be transferred then pick destination button and this will assign existing view to new user.
